Sorry to all of our regular readers for being a little MIA.  Summer is here!  And with summer comes pool time, hanging out with friends and SCIENCE!  What?  Not that last one?  Oh but yes!  We are all about Science, 24/7, 365, friends and this summer is no different.  We have 5 sites in Boston and Cambridge and are working with over 200 youth!

Just a few index cards held over 80 books!

Just recently at the Middlesex Boys and Girls Club in Cambridge – our older group (10-13 year olds) as part of our Engineering curriculum, discovered that index cards, though flimsy on their own, are a mighty force when structured together.

How are you spending your summer?  What sorts of fun STEM activities are your youth getting involved in?  Let us know – we’d love to hear from you!

PS: For some inspiration, check out the Plankton Rap from our April Vacation week at The Roxbury Boys and Girls Club.  Written and performed by the 4-5th grade girls.
