In your heart of hearts, you know you were born to make an impact on the world around you in an uncommon way. So what if baby dolls, baking sets and nail polish may not be your favorite things anymore. Or perhaps they still are, yet something inside of you loves your chemistry set, loves watching the Science channel, and loves asking “why” about everything. That’s who you are.
Be true to yourself and don’t let anyone tell you you’re not a scientist simply because you don’t fit into their square box.
Never stop chasing your dreams. You may or may not achieve them, but the most fun is in trying.
Donna McCormick has wanted to be a food scientist since she was about 13 years old. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science & Human Nutrition and is occupying her dream job in Florida. More here
